As a worldwide operating company, the attachment with the region plays a major role for us. Many small and large associations, organizations and projects are helping to make southwest Saxony an attractive home for families, students and professionals. We support this commitment.

Every year, scia Systems sponsors up to four non-profit organizations or social projects. These are directly proposed by our employees. After the nomination a jury of scia Systems colleagues votes on the entries in an anonymous process. Once again, the jury had a hard time choosing between all the projects. In addition to sports clubs, two social institutions were also able to prevail this year.

500 euros each go to:

• Sewing circle "Kreatives Nähen" at the Volkssolidarität Chemnitz for the purchase of sewing machines, fabrics and haberdashery
• Elterninitiative Naturkinderhaus e. V. of the AWO Naturkinderhaus "Spatzennest" for the construction of planting and food beds
• The swimming department of the Chemnitzer Polizeisportverein e. V. (Chemnitz Police Sports Club) for the purchase of swimming boards, swimming caps and T-shirts
• The department Ninjutsu of the Kampfkunstzentrum Zwickau e. V. for the purchase of training suits

Meanwhile, the sponsored clubs from last year have realized their projects:

• A new slide for the outdoor area of the European Kindergarten Lichtenstein, "Eurozwerge".
• Prizes for the KiSS Olympics of the Children's Sports School (KiSS) in Chemnitz
• Purchase of training equipment for the 1st men's team of Oberlungwitzer SV
• New jerseys for the women's volleyball team of Universitätssportgemeinschaft Chemnitz e. V.

At the end of this year, all colleagues can again submit their project for a chance to win 500 euros in 2023.
