We are pleased to wel­come Dr. Michael Gempe as new member of the man­age­ment board of scia Systems. Together with Dr. Michael Zeuner, the two CEOs form the top management team that combines various professional backgrounds and continue the success of scia Systems.

After studying law, Dr. Gempe started his career as a legal counsel at the headquarters of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft e.V. in Munich. His work focused on the legal advice of various Fraunhofer institutes in negotiations and the conclusion of research and development contracts with industrial partners and other research institutions.

In 2006, Dr. Gempe joined the legal department of VON ARDENNE Group, a medium-sized technology company for industrial vacuum coating applications. As head of the legal department for several years, he gained wide-ranging experience in the international equipment business, with a focus on China and the USA. Together with Dr. Zeuner, Dr. Gempe will now contribute with his experience to scia Systems success. Dr. Gempe is responsible for the areas of purchasing, administration and HR at scia Systems.
